MRC Global Leader John Merkovsky Identifies Theme of Interconnectedness in the World Economic Forum's (WEF) "Global Risks 2010" Report
Excerpted from Business Insurance: "Holistic Approach Needed to Address Global Risks: WEF Report"
14 January 2010

Business Insurance

MRC Global Practice Leader Leader John Merkovsky recently discussed with Business Insurance the World Economic Forum's (WEF) "2010 Global Risks Report," which addresses changes that have occurred in the global risks landscape as well as emerging risks that are likely to have a major impact in the upcoming year. Merkovsky specifically discussed the connectivity between risks, stating,

"The headline theme of interconnectivity of risk shows risk managers that they cannot manage risk in silos. The concept of interconnectivity of risk is far more important than any of the risks (identified in the report) themselves."
