Mr. Merkovsky serves as the Global Practice Leader for Marsh’s Risk Consulting Practice, overseeing and directing the daily operations and continuing growth of its core practices: Property Claims, Liability Claims, Forensic Accounting and Claims Services, Product Recall, Mass Tort and Complex Liability, Risk Focus, Business Continuity, and Workforce Strategies.

Mr. Merkovsky began his risk consulting career in 1984, participating in the review and measurement of damage claims. Such reviews have involved the measurement of insured and uninsured losses related to: loss of earnings and property damage; the search for missing and hidden assets in matters of bankruptcy and financial judgments; fidelity losses; and the establishment of financial condition with regards to arson and fraud, personal injury, and wrongful death. Mr. Merkovsky has also testified in various Federal and state courts as an expert on financial damages.

Mr. Merkovsky has authored many articles, been quoted in the press, and presented seminars to the insurance industry, business audiences, and in-house personnel on such subjects as the risk life cycle, litigation support, business interruption, property damage, and other similar matters. Mr. Merkovsky has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting and is a certified public account.
