With over 20 years of practical experience in risk and business continuity as well as a background in engineering, business and emergency management, Costa has been able to work with a number of private and public sector organizations to develop practical risk management solutions that complement business operations. He has worked in sectors as diverse as professional services, manufacturing, mining, finance, emergency management, sport and infrastructure.

Costa is a regular industry conference speaker on various aspects of business risk, including business continuity management and strategic risk. Costa is also a trainer and industry technical adviser in specialist-fields risk, including business continuity management and emergency management.

Costa holds a Bachelors degree in electrical engineering and an MBA.
