Rod Ratsma is the Business Continuity Risk Management Practice Leader for Marsh Risk Consulting in the United Kingdom. He develops and delivers a wide range of business continuity-related offerings available to Marsh’s existing and prospective clients. Rod is responsible for consulting services related to business continuity management; covering emergency response, crisis management, business recovery, supply chain and product risk.

Rod is an industry-acknowledged expert in the fields of business continuity management, incident management, IT continuity and communications continuity. He has extensive experience in a variety of sectors including, finance, banking, legal, professional service, insurance, retail, manufacturing, IT, utilities, energy, local and central government, both in the UK and around the world.

Before joining Marsh, Rod led the BCM consulting practice at Siemens Insight Consulting. Prior to that he held director-level positions with SunGard Availability Services, Guardian iT plc, and Safetynet Group. He is a professional member of the British Computer Society (MBCS) and a member of British Mensa (MBM).
