Robert Petrie is Head of North American Operations for Marsh and CEO of CS STARS, LLC. Mr. Petrie has led the development of the firm’s strategies and tools since 1997. Under his guidance, CS STARS has become one of the fastest growing practice areas within the MMC family of companies, and the country’s largest provider of Risk Management Information Systems (RIMS).

Mr. Petrie is a 20-year software industry veteran. He initially joined Marsh in 1987, helping develop the firm’s strategies and tools to assist clients compare various forms of self-insurance to traditional programs. Prior to joining Marsh, Mr. Petrie founded a software company that specialized in developing vertical market automation systems. Mr. Petrie holds a degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin.
