As the leader for the Risk Consulting Practice in Latin America, Mr. Pelacani is responsible for coordinating the practice's activities in the Latin American / Caribbean Region (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, and Puerto Rico) and ensuring effective delivery of value-added services for clients. In addition, Mr. Pelacani is responsible for staff development, quality control, business development, and the identification and development of new services to meet clients’ risk management needs.

Prior to joining Marsh, Mr. Pelacani was with Factory Mutual Engineering Association, where he was responsible for serving major clients in the paper, automotive, mining, and food industries.

Mr. Pelacani holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the Escola de Engenharia da Universidade MacKenzie (Sãn Paulo) and an MBA in marketing from the Faculdade de Economia, Administracão e Ciências Contábeis (FEA) Universidade de São Paulo.
