Andrew Hosie is the National Practice Leader for Risk Focus in Canada. Prior to this role, Andrew was a consultant with the Corporate Risk Consulting practice of Mercer Oliver Wyman, which was formerly Marsh’s Business Risk Consulting practice.

Working with clients to facilitate the identification, assessment and prioritization of critical business risks, Andrew supported organizations in designing risk mitigation and transfer strategies to deal with key risks, implementing solutions and monitoring their effectiveness.

Andrew spent over a year in Marsh's Montreal office before moving to Toronto in January 2003. Over the past four years, Andrew has provided Risk Focus and Business Risk Assessment services to numerous organizations in various industries, including public entities/higher education, charities/not-for-profits, healthcare, sports and leisure, retail, and manufacturing.

Andrew graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in risk management from Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland in 2000 and holds his Canadian Risk Management (CRM, 2002), Institute of Risk Management (AIRM, 2001) and Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario (RIBO, 2003) designations.
